Hooping with pleasure

 

What Hoopdance Means to Me!

 


Hooping has become my passion! It brings me unspeakable joy and nourishes my soul. It lifts my spirits and puts a smile on my face. It offers a full body massage and really fills my cardiovascular system with precious oxygen.


The kinetic energy produced, (ki·net·ic en·er·gy n the energy that a body or system has because of its motion.) has a meditative and soothing effect.  It’s a real stress reliever as well as delivering a core, especially abdominal sizzling workout!


Hooping knows no limits. If you can conceive it, it is possible.  It’s ageless, and great for folks from the age of 8 and beyond. If you’re interested in a new approach to fitness and want to tap back into the innocence (and freedom) of your childhood, please give hoopdance and hooping a try.


One other stress reliever I highly believe in is Laughter Yoga. Being Certified as a Laughter Yoga Instructor continues my journey of the pursuit of physical and mental wellness.  How liberating would it be to laugh in the face of adversity instead of getting stressed out? Through interactive exercises, you’ll feel yourself relax, the stresses/worries of your day will start to pale, and you’ll feel a shift towards inner peace and serenity. And the added benefit of a disease free life!
